摘要: Abstract Three different methods were used for measuring the oxygen tension in healing tissue. Average extracellular wound and its response to systemic hyperoxia hypoxia recorded rats by using perfused Teflon tonometer coils 50 cm long within cylindrical sponge granulomas implanted subcutaneously. Dead space pO 2 variations with changing ambient determined. In second method, intercapillary gradients tissue tensions various parts of connective capsule surrounding subcutaneous implants determined ultramicro electrodes under visual control. The effects breathing on also recorded. third part study measurements made ultra-micro microclimate during rabbit ear chambers. dead varied between 0 3 mm Hg. Fibroblast proliferation appeared be greatest zone where was 20 30 Collagen accumulation a region slightly higher tension. growing edge granulation contained cells similar macrophages this 5 15 Breathing pure greatly increased vicinity advancing capillary arcade. Measurements exposure suggest that demand area collagen formation is less than active fibroblast proliferation.
