摘要: Purpose No studies quantify the labor market disparities between nurses with and without activity difficulties (physical impairment or disability). We explore disparate treatment of at three margins market: ability to get a job, relative wage rate offered once nurse has annual hours work given that rate. Design Key variables from American Community Survey (ACS) were analyzed, including basic demographic information, wages, work, employment status registered 2006 2014. Findings Although there is relatively little disparity in hourly enormous disabled's opportunities, hence moderate amount wages. Conclusions This significant implications for nursing force, particularly as workforce continues age physical limitations disabilities increase by 15-fold 25 65 years age. Clinical Relevance  Physical psychological sharply over course nurse's career, employers must heighten efforts facilitate an aging provide appropriate job accommodations limitations.
