摘要: Radiation measurements in the area off Northwest Africa (research cruise, February 2008) and at Mindelo (Cape Verde Islands, May 2009) were used to investigate impacts of Saharan dust clouds on solar irradiance photosynthetically available radiation, derive a relationship between aerosol optical depth (AOD) radiation determine annual variations radiation. Three different kinds atmospheric conditions considered: cloudy skies, which decreased or increased dusty skies. The reduction by was up 67.2% 400 nm 84.4% 700 nm. Enhancements 21.9% 34.0% observed. decrease 19.7% 4.1% Clouds 79.9% 31.2%. depended AOD 3.6% 12.3%. A linear confirmed 1.2% an increase 0.1.
