摘要: OBJECTIVE: To determine changes in intraocular pressure following phacoemulsification and implantation of a posterior chamber lens. STUDY DESIGN: Prospective study before surgery then 1 day, week 6 months after Cataract was standardized included capsulorhexis the nucleus. In all cases polymethyl metha-acrylate lens implanted into capsular bag with aid sodium hyaluronate (Healon®). The viscoelastic substance evacuated at end surgery. SETTING: Ophthalmic out-patient St Eriks Eye Hospital. PATIENTS: 40 eyes (65–86 years) patients eye diseases other than cataract were not study. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Intraocular surgery, total energy. RESULTS: A significant elevation IOP found day however this change moderate correlated energy used. One no compared to preoperative values. Six postoperatively significantly reduced. CONCLUSIONS: results suggest that induced is often disappears within week.
