摘要: THE work done by us, so far, has shown that it is possible to isolate only two forms of 4-methyl-, 3-methyl- and 2-methyleyclohexane-1-carboxy-1-acetic acids1 one form 3:3-dimethylcyclohexane-1-carboxy-1-acetic acid2. In order get more evidence on the point configuration cyclohexane ring, we have now synthesized 4:4-dimethylcyclohexane-1-carboxy-1-acetic acid 4:4-dimethylcyclohexane-1:1-diacetic from 4:4-dimethylcyclohexanone. Each them found exist in only, thus supporting uniplanar structure ring.
