Realization of Multi-Modulation Schemes for Wireless Communication by Time-Domain Digital Coding Metasurface

摘要: Metasurfaces are well-designed artificial periodic or quasiperiodic structures to achieve customized electromagnetic responses. Based on the time-domain digital coding metasurface (TDCM) with dynamic reflection transmission characteristics, one can realize direct information modulation metasurface, which has been used in wireless communications. In comparison classical architectures of communication systems, TDCM advantages for simple architecture, easy manufacture, and low cost. However, systems based still limited by conversion efficiency, spectrum pollution, hard implement high-order schemes. To solve these limitations, we propose a new route multi-modulation schemes communications regulating phases nonlinear way. By carefully designing regulation voltages applied diodes TDCM, arbitrary constellation diagrams successfully synthesized. The novel various such as quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK), 8PSK, 16QAM good quality, high stability, free scheme switching. presented method may find important applications modern technologies.
