摘要: The unrestrained release of huge quantities food waste (FW) has become a significant concern because it causes intensive environmental pollution. However, FW is proper substrate that can be treated by anaerobic digestion (AD) due to its excellent biodegradability and high-water content. Studies have demonstrated the AD process turning into biogas an effective solution for treatment. This manuscript reviews characteristics FW, biological biochemical reaction involved in process, various operational parameters classification co-digestion pre-treatment production. Both processes could improve hydrolysis rate methane further improvement this technology required assess economic feasibility. Challenges future perspectives production from are also discussed performance technology.
