摘要: About 1000 patients were investigated at our clinic during 1991-1995 for occupational skin disease, and 5 had allergic contact dermatitis from spices. The chefs, or kitchen, coffee room, restaurant workers. All hand (or finger) dermatitis. causative spices were: garlic, cinnamon, ginger, allspice clove. same also patch test reactions to foods: tomato, lettuce carrot. Paprika elicited a weak reaction in 2 patients. Occupational is relatively rare, but needs be taken into consideration who have dermatitis, work with foods. Patch testing as useful, dilutions pet, may needed confirm that the are allergic. Patients need prick tested
