摘要: One of the most significant inaccuracies bibliometric databases is that omitted citations, namely, missing electronic links between a paper interest and some citing papers, which are (or should be) covered by database. This proposes novel approach for estimating database’s omitted-citation rate, based on combined use 2 or more databases. A statistical model also presented (a) “true” number citations received individual papers sets (b) defining an appropriate confidence interval. The proposed could represent first step towards definition standard evaluating accuracy level
