摘要: Wild-type erbB-2/neu transgenic mice were used to study the interactions between tamoxifen and dietary phytoestrogens (or isoflavones) by dose form in vivo. Mice randomized one of four formulas implanted with an 8-week continuous-release or placebo pellet at 8 weeks age. In placebo-treated mice, soy meal diet (but not diets supplemented low-dose high-dose isoflavones a casein diet) resulted prolongation tumor latency. tamoxifen-treated fed meal, casein, isoflavone enriched diets, majority (>80%) showed no formation 60 Of that developed tumors, latency was significantly prolonged. diet, much higher rate mammary development (>50%; P < 0.002) shorter observed. vitro studies human mouse cell lines confirm low doses genistein, co-administered tamoxifen, promote proliferation. This is contrast alone genistein are growth inhibitory. summary, abrogated tamoxifen-associated prevention These supported data from lines. dose-associated likely have relevance use for treatment breast cancer.
