摘要: The possibility that fibrin clot, with its chemotactic and mitogenic factors, might improve the healing of a defect in rat supraspinatus tendon was evaluated. Bilateral defects were surgically created near humeral insertion. One each filled clot from donor animal while other side acted as control. tendons evaluated at 3, 6, 12 weeks. On histologic evaluation persistent seen all time points, whereas tissue became less cellular better collagen organization over time. Fibrin remained treated shoulders early points. Biomechanically, there improvement properties time, but they did not approach those normal by There no effect addition except 3 weeks, where it led to decrease material properties.
