摘要: Objective: The goodness-of-fit hypothesis suggests that the effectiveness of a coping strategy depends on match between type (problem-focused, emotion-focused) and level perceived control. This was examined as predictor physical functioning quality well-being (QWB) in large sample women with fibromyalgia. Methods: Participants were 478 diagnosed fibromyalgia (M age = 54.31, SD = 11.2), who part larger intervention which no effects found. Hierarchical, mixed selection regressions performed to determine whether relationship control-predicted QWB. Results: reported having lower levels control over their syndrome engaged more self-controlling (emotion-focused strategy) experienced greater QWB than those used less coping.
