摘要: A multi-layer piezoelectric microactuator assembly has at least one poled and active layer but inactive layer. The acts as a constraining in resisting expansion or contract of the first thereby reducing eliminating bending installed an environment, increasing effective stroke length assembly. Poling only single would induce stresses into device; hence, polling both layers even though will be use reduces device therefore increases reliability.
