摘要: Extrachromosomal (ec) DNA in eukaryotic cells has been known for decades. The structures described range from linear double stranded (ds) to circular dsDNA, distinct mitochondrial (mt) DNA. sizes of forms are some hundred base pairs (bp) up more than 150 kbp. number molecules per cell ranges several a thousand. Semi-quantitative determinations dsDNA show proportions as high percentages the total cell. These ecDNA fractions harbor sequences that be present chromosomal (chrDNA) too. Sequencing projects on, example human genome, have take into account which simultaneously ascertained; corrections cannot performed retrospectively. Concerning results sequencings derived extracted whole DNA: if contained therein not taken account, erroneous conclusions at level may result.
