摘要: An experimental study of optical probing a dense z-pinch plasma using the MAGPIE (mega-ampere generator for implosion experiments) [I. H. Mitchell et al., Rev. Sci. Instrum. 67, 1533 (1996)] is reported. The was operated with peak current 1.1 MA rising in 150 ns (10%–90%). loads were 33 μm diam carbon fibers. Faraday rotation used to investigate distribution flowing plasma. A measurable angle observed only time window from 50 60 after start, due fact that this effect depends on combination magnetic-field strength and electron number density. new type self-referencing cyclic radial shear interferometer evaluate density profiles which are necessary reconstruction distribution. It calculated ∼110 kA at 52 start. Shadowgraphy dynamics ...
