摘要: Abstract Experience-dependent learning of feature-based object categories, including entry-level categories such as “human being” and more specialized “family member”, “pet” or “toy”, is required to support correct re-identification over time hence social bonding, language learning, the development general life skills. It hypothesized that activity imbalances between motion-analyzing feature-analyzing components visuo-motor system resulting in hyper-activation parahippocampal cortex relative perirhinal during initial period experience-dependent category early infancy could lead construction dominated by trajectory information opposed feature information. shown deployment trajectory-dominated would disrupt normal produce developmental outcomes consistent with both recognized symptoms experimentally characterized cognitive–behavioral phenotypes autism spectrum disorders. Further experiments test hypothesis its potential clinical relevance are discussed.
