摘要: Abstract Background Despite the high prevalence of blunt smoking among cannabis users, very few studies examine clinical profile smokers relative to those using more common methods use, such as joints. Methods The current study uses baseline data from ACCENT (Achieving Cannabis Cessation-Evaluating N-acetylcysteine Treatment) study, a multi-site randomized pharmacotherapy trial within National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network, predict association between and joint use frequency characteristics (e.g., grams used) consequences withdrawal) past-month users (N = 377) who were screened for participation. Results After controlling race, age, gender, other forms (including use) nicotine dependence, multivariable linear regression models indicated that number days in past month was significant predictor average amount per day (t = 3.04, p  Conclusions Blunt may present treatment with greater amounts smoked intense withdrawal symptoms, which adversely impact their likelihood successful abstinence. Cannabis-dependent be likely benefit targets physiological mood-related symptoms.
