摘要: We consider the response of fluid-filled tubes to internal shock waves and explosions. The emphasis is on fluid–solid coupling aspects. axial wave propagation in fluid flexural tube may be characterized by a single parameter that depends only material properties dimensions. Using this as figure merit, we discuss limiting cases weak strong between motion structural motion. Examples discussed include detonation gas liquid-filled metal, polymers, composites. results experiments elastic plastic deformation are presented well selected fracture rupture.
