摘要: This study aimed to identify metalloproteins that lose their metal ions in the presence of mercury (Hg) and bind Hg breast milk samples collected from riverine population Madeira River, a tributary Amazon River. Initially, total was determined hair lactating women individuals who were contaminated followed by proteomic analysis through two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis after acetone precipitation. The obtained protein spots cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry fluorescence spectrometry. These determinations indicated one spot, which then characterized electrospray ionization tandem mass Based on searches UniProt database, this spot identified as lysozyme C.
