摘要: Aerobic exercise is a powerful, physiological stimulus for GH release (1–7). Although the mechanisms underlying exercise-induced have not been elucidated fully, they likely include growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) release, somatostatin (SMS) withdrawal, putative natural ligand (i.e., GH-releasing peptide, GHRP), or combination of these hypo- thalamic responses. If mechanism entails solely than L-arginine plus should result in response that similar to either given alone. Likewise, if involves GHRH GHRP then stimulation Clearly, issue mechanistic control becomes more difficult hypothalamic responses involved.
