摘要: Sydney Ringer would be overwhelmed today by the implications of his simple experiment performed over 120 years ago showing that heart not beat in absence Ca2+. Fascination with role Ca2+ has proliferated into all aspects our understanding normal cardiac function and progression disease, including induction hypertrophy, failure, sudden death. This review examines L-type voltage-dependent channels disease.
