摘要: AbstractIn this study, we aimed to characterise the genetic diversity of Italian pigeon breeds and describe relationships among them other European lineages, conjecturing which processes have led actual breeds. We analysed eight most diffused in addition 11 foreign lineages that could shared common ancestors or been used creation 12 autosomal microsatellite loci 427 samples collected from 19 belonging six main groups domestic pigeons (tumblers highflyers, structure, owls, wattle, utility hen).
