摘要: Cyanide is removed from a cyanide-containing waste water by passing the through an adsorbent porous solid substrate which has been treated with water-insoluble metal compound, preferably copper sulfide (CuS), that facilitates adsorption of cyanide, preferred being activated carbon. An oxidizing agent supplied to oxidize adsorbed source oxygen such as air. Ammonia passed over bed along enhance longevity adsorbent.
