An Overview of Adenocarcinoma of the Small Intestine

摘要: Even though the small intestine contains 90% of gastrointestinal tract mucosa and is located between stomach large intestine, two organs with a high cancer incidence, adenocarcinoma 1/50th as common bowel. In several other respects, small-intestinal resembles bowel adenocarcinoma; eg, it arises from adenomatous polyps, co-occurs in same individuals, has similar pattern incidence rates by country. Small-intestinal diagnosed prior to surgery only about 50% cases often occurs conjunction obstruction. The mainstay treatment surgery; prognosis depends on stage at presentation. Little known use radiotherapy chemotherapy this malignancy, but most physicians utilize therapeutic strategies modeled management large-intestinal adenocarcinoma. Clarification reason for low could lead new interventions prevention colorectal cancer.
