摘要: A process for hydrogasification of biomass to produce high yields methane utilizes a reactor (I) capable carrying out rapid pyrolysis. Biomass particles, hydrogen, particles suitable catalyst that has both cracking and hydrogenation activity, heat are introduced into the reactor. Pyrolysis is carried in hydrogen-rich atmosphere under following conditions: (a) temperature ranging from 500°C 550°C; (b) pressure equal or greater than one atmosphere; (c) gas residence time not exceeding two seconds; (d) particle at least as long time; (e) size 2 mm. The methane-rich product then recovered. Conversion carbon 69 % been attained using present invention.
