摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the production of functional food additive, such as prebiotic composition, comprising steps of. (a) providing plant based material wherein is selected from group consisting cereals, legumes, tubers and mixtures thereof, said comprises dietary fiber optionally starchy glucose, or material, glucose; (b): (b1) hydrolyzing tranglucosylating at least part into glucose one non-digestible oligosaccharide polysaccharide, transglucosylating oligosaccharide, or, (b2) maltooligosaccharides produced in step (c) oxidizing total optional obtained (b2), gluconic acid salt thereof; (d) removing and/or thereof (c); thereby obtaining composition polysaccharide defined claim 1. This also additive use thereof.
