摘要: Objective: To investigate whether there is a relationship between nutritional status and limitations in activities of daily living patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods: A cross sectional study was conducted from July to December 2011 Santa Catarina. Seventeen disease [age (years) = 67±8; forced expiratory volume one second (% the predicted value) 38.6±16.1; body mass index (kg/m2) 24.7±5.4] underwent assessments: function (spirometry); functional (London Chest Activity Daily Living scale, physical life, Glittre ADL-Test; (anthropometry dual-energy X-Ray absorptiometry). Results: The total score London scale correlated fat-free (r=-0.50; p=0.04) lean p=0.04). lying time life bone mineral content Nutricional not spent on ADL-test. Conclusion: Variables that reflect muscle depletion are related variables self-reported limitation living. Bone spend lying, reflecting impact inactive postures these patients.
