摘要: A host of recent public inquiries into Australian local government have recommended increased use shared services and resource-sharing models between groups councils. While little is known about the extent consequences service sharing, emphasis has been fixed on ‘horizontal’ different councils in same municipal jurisdictions. However, other resource sharing are possible. This paper considers Queensland Local Government Association (LGAQ) model as a case study all given system government. form seems to offer excellent prospects for cost savings capacity enhancement.
