摘要: The present study reports findings from two experiments on the relation between a mental task (silent backward counting) and posture. first experiment included 30 normal subjects second 20 subjects. In Experiment 1 postural sway performance of were measured in 2 x dual-task design (with or without calf stimulation). similar was used, only difference being that during trials task, instructed to focus their balance provide rating body sway. Results showed perturbation led decreased cognitive 1, but not 2. less sway, while focused attention attenuated effect. conclusion, control functioning are some extent related.
