Diagnosis and Monitoring of Hepatic Injury. II. Recommendations for Use of Laboratory Tests in Screening, Diagnosis, and Monitoring

摘要: Purpose: To review information on the use of laboratory tests in screening, diagnosis, and monitoring acute chronic hepatic injury. Data Sources Study Selection: A MEDLINE search was performed for key words related to diseases, including hepatitis, alcoholic cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma, etiologic causes. Abstracts were reviewed, articles discussing selected review. Additional from references. Guideline Preparation Review: Drafts guidelines posted Internet, presented at AACC Annual Meeting 1999, reviewed by experts. Areas requiring further amplification or literature identified analysis. Specific recommendations made based analysis published data evaluated strength evidence clinical impact. Recommendations: Although many specific are guidelines, only some summary listed here.
