摘要: Analysis of shooting bag records suggest a 90–¸93% decrease in numbers Black Grouse shot Scotland and northern England since 1900. The magnitude the decline differed between regions; most severe declines were found western Scotland, where highest birds once shot, but fewest are today. By contrast, eastern (Perthshire Angus) have declined relatively little this region is currently stronghold for Britain.
