摘要: In a companion paper, model was derived to predict the vibro‐acoustic responses of simplified residential structures exposed sonic booms. present experimental validation numerical is presented. First, setup described, including structure, instrumentation, and external pressure loading. The structure single room made plaster‐wood walls includes two double‐panel windows door. extensively instrumented with accelerometers microphones record its response. Sonic booms realistic amplitudes durations were generated by an explosive technique. Subsequently, predictions on vibration pressures inside are compared data, showing fairly good agreement overall.
