摘要: The aim of this review is to collect various data on different functions interleukin-11 (IL-11), a member family IL-6-like cytokines. Numerous in vitro experiments have suggested long list IL-11 properties including support and control proliferation differentiation hematopoietic progenitors, as well participation osteoclastogenensis, neurogenesis, development some other tissues. However, great number effects not been confirmed using murine models, hampering an understanding the physiological role cytokine. We discuss possible reasons for divergence between vivo perspectives conditional gene targeting assess ontogenesis immune response.
