摘要: The study was conducted to ascertain the age at which muscle power and balance begins decline, establish a baseline pattern of changes body composition. A total 96 Malaysian women ranged 20–65 years old participated in this study. subjects were assigned into four groups, representing decade each. Fat mass fat-free measured using Bioelectrical Impedance. Vertical jump test used measure leg power. Balance also performed as functional ability test. One-way ANOVA detected differences between groups. Fat-free mass, decline with age. analysis revealed that exhibit significant drop from fifth group (50 above). Significant difference is found decade. Leg decreases 5th onwards. There unable determine particular composition significantly increases it steady trend.
