摘要: Immunohistochemical and fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) assays are useful diagnostic methods for the identification of bacteria on formalin fixed paraffin embedded histological sections. To validate an anti-bacterial antibody or oligonucleotide probe to ensure fidelity during subsequent analyses, suitable positive negative controls necessary. Suspensions often used, but ideally, these should be fixed, processed same way tissue samples under analysis. Herein, we describe a simple method production bacterial control samples: sandwich. The sandwich is composed two external layers equine lung parenchyma central layer target bacterium. We prepared sandwiches containing Escherichia coli, Campylobacter jejuni, Arcanobacterium pyogenes tested them with appropriate antibodies Eub338 FISH probe. effective prepare as tissues.
