摘要: Abstract A detailed investigation is carried out on the performance of an open-type absorption heat transformer (OAHT) that coupled with either a single-effect or multi-effect distillation system. In analysis, effects temperatures absorber, condenser, generator and feed water OAHT overall are subject to examination. The whole cycle optimized through code developed in Engineering Equation Solver (EES). results reveal advantages disadvantages OAHTs comparison commonly used transformers (AHTs). It observed can attain higher coefficient (COP) values than those AHTs, leading more distilled production. found for integrated system, COP produced constant increasing absorber waste temperatures. contrast, configuration, rises temperature while production reduced. On other hand, when system fed at 140 °C be elevated 1.2 kg/s reduces by over 40%. Moreover, it discovered condenser both configurations 60 40 °C, respectively.
