摘要: In the following contribution it is shown, how analytical chemistry can be used for characterization of atmospheric aerosol. After an introductory discussion about nature and origin aerosol particles techniques sampling airborne particulate matter prior to analysis are treated in detail. Particle collection methods without with size fractionation as well artifacts included section methodology applied investigation collected material summarized respect principal constituents such elements crustal origin, organic carbon, anthropogenic trace metals, conversion products reactive gases (S02; N0x, NH3). Finally technical requirements surface depth profile measurements solid briefly discussed.
