摘要: The role of object identification in a sonification system for navigation assistance to the visually impaired (NAVI) is discussed. developed includes single board processing (SBPS), vision sensor mounted on headgear and stereo earphones. captures information front blind user. captured image processed identify image. Object achieved by real time methodology using fuzzy algorithms. mapped onto acoustic patterns transferred earphones system. Blind individuals were trained with NAVI tested obstacle identification.
