摘要: We have developed a new technique for the collection of DNA fragments separated by capillary electrophoresis, direct transfer from outlet to positively charged membrane. Transfer and post-run detection two different nonradioactivety labeled standards, ranging in size 150 bp 2 kbp 120 23 are presented, discussed. Capillary electrophoresis with blotting presents several advantages over gels: separation is faster requires less manual steps, resolution higher, each fragment collected into very concentrated spot on membrane due small surface design device inducing refocusing field lines across hybridization Therefore, amounts (in pg range) can be detected. This fraction makes further analysis sample possible, e.g. hybridization, thus suppressing one major present limitations 1 .
