摘要: Disclosed is a process for improving feed conversion and weight gain in poultry, including chickens, wherein Bacillus laterosporus , or any microorganism with similarity index, based on its cellular fatty acid profile, of greater than 0.5 to (including strain CM-33 (ATCC Accession No. PTA-3952)) administered poultry. Strain was isolated from soil has index 76% . The administration preferably divided into daily doses about 2.0 million colony forming units (cfu)/day continued 40 days the growth cycle. cells spores can be through bird's drinking water by other methods, spraying them onto feed.
