摘要: Thousands of tons macadamia skin waste are generated annually with very limited utilisation this extensive by-product. The aim study was to develop optimal ultrasonic extraction conditions for maximized recovery phenolic compounds and antioxidant properties from using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). Three parameters, including temperature (30–50 °C), time (10–50 min) power (150–250 W), were tested their impact on the total (TPC), flavonoids, proanthocyanidins properties. results showed that temperature, had an TPC capacity; however, effects varied. optimum maximum found be a 40 °C, 35 min 80%/200 W. Under these conditions, approximately 168 mg TPC, 135 flavonoids 188 can extracted one gram dried skin.
