摘要: Gas and particulate reaction products from the ozonolysis of β -caryophyllene (I) in presence atmospheric air were investigated using a combination gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). A Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer system (3936, TSI) Condensation Counter (3025A, used to study secondary organic aerosol formation. The nighttime oxidation was carried out large outdoor smog chamber (190 m3). wide range ring retaining opening particle phase are reported over course reaction. Measurements show that number with low vapor pressure (e.g., β-caryophyllone aldehyde (IV), β-norcaryophyllone (V), β-caryophyllonic acid (VIII), β-14-hydroxycaryophyllonic (XIV)) found sample taken during first 20 min may play an important role early formation aerosol. detailed mechanism is proposed account most observed this investigation.
