摘要: • Four cases of meningeal cysts in the sacral region are reported detail, supplementing a series previously reported. Low back pain, unexplained by usual diagnostic procedures and resistant to ordinary treatment, led use delayed myelography with iophendylate, which showed existence diverticula root sheaths various nerves. The x-ray evidence was confirmed at operation. Laminectomy revealed not only filled contrast medium but also extensive cavitations bone. Opening resecting affected nerve roots followed great improvement patient's condition each case. These show that cyst-like can develop adult life, they cause local pressure atrophy bone, amenable treatment.
