摘要: Abstract. Ice-nucleating particles (INPs) influence the formation of ice crystals in clouds and many types precipitation. However, our knowledge relationship between INPs precipitation is still insufficient. This study was conducted to fill this gap by assessing properties INP concentrations (nINP) from a total 42 events observed Texas Panhandle region June 2018 July 2019. We used cold-stage instrument called West Cryogenic Refrigerator Applied Freezing Test system estimate nINP through immersion freezing samples. A disdrometer measure intensity size precipitating during each event. The analysis yearlong as well for samples shed light on seasonal variation values Texas. Furthermore, we characterized bacteria speciation storm ambient dust collected at commercial feedlot identify potential biological sources Overall, results showed positive correlation with notably large hydrometeor sizes precipitations. Amongst all types, highest were found snow samples, hail/thunderstorm have high temperature −5°C.
