摘要: Abstract Objective While in clinical interviews the vast majority of patients with Tourette syndrome (TS) report about a tic rebound after voluntary suppression, recent studies children no paradoxical increase could be found. We hypothesized that adult there is suppression. Methods investigated severity, premonitory urges and influence attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) before, during suppression 22 TS using both an objective video rating subjective patient ratings for tics urges. Results According to rating, resulted significant reduction, but rebound. Patients also reported They erroneously believed absolute reduction 20 30 min paradoxically felt relative change. Premonitory remained unchanged. There was correlation between severity. The potency inhibition did not correlate ADHD inhibition. Conclusion In adults TS, rebound, later course study.
