摘要: Indo-Gen mediated surface labelling with125I demonstrated differences in oriented antigens between virulent and promastigote ofLeishniania donovani, In case of strains, polypeptides with molecular masses 63, 53, 42 38 kDa were found to be labelled whereas the aviralent stains 68, 55, 50, 46, 33 Da, components iodinated. Further studies by immunoblot assay using different subcellular fractions avirulent parasites that antibody raised against gp63 cross-reacted 63 60 antigen avirulentLeishmania donovani strains Indian origin respectively. It indicates these two are antigenically similar. When cells grown presence varying concentration tunicarnycin anti gp63, it was observed increasing tunicamycin polypeptide shifted approximately 58–57 polypoptide aviruleni 57 kDa. This suggests glycosylation may play an important role antigenic variation parasites.
