摘要: The 9/11 attacks precipitated not only the war on terror, but also ‘war immigrants’ in USA. It represents moment when various categories of non‐citizens were forced to encounter policies and attitudes that together constitute a form hyper‐marginalization. convergence crime immigration control post period has elevated discourse immigrant ‘threat’ new heights culture, justified crackdowns against without concern for collateral consequences such actions, fostered perception safety security at expense non‐citizens. immigrants many fronts.
