摘要: Background and Study Aims: Hematochezia is a common clinical problem. When the bleeding brisk continuous it requires prompt hospital admission careful diagnostic evaluation management. Colonoscopy has become first-line investigative modality in patients presenting with severe hematochezia many centers, including ours. A retrospective review was carried out to evaluate effectiveness of colonoscopy determining cause our Oriental population. Patients Methods: One hundred ninety underwent at National University Hospital, Singapore, from 1 January 1988 31 December 1994.
