摘要: The micro-mechanical behavior of electron beam melted (EBM) Ti-6Al-4V alloy was characterized and compared with the cast alloy. Micro-pillars diameters ranging from 1.5–3.5µm were prepared using focused ion milling micro-compression tests performed a nanoindenter. yield strength, hardness, wear resistance EBM found to be significantly higher than those Fine lamellar structure resulting cooling rates in process contributes better mechanical properties.
