摘要: Tumors of the jaws are epithelial, osseous, or dental in origin. The epithelial tumors, like those skin, epidermal basal-cell type, arising from neighboring mucous membranes their appendages and invading by direct extension. malignant osseous tumors (including osteogenic Ewing9s sarcoma) resemble long bones. benign bone show features peculiar to this region. osteomas ossifying fibromas a mode ossification characteristic membranous bone. giant-cell may be central peripheral. peripheral (epulides) related origin eruption permanent teeth. usually cystic character contain elements.
